Welcome to Cornesti, Moldova, our home for our last month on the race…
We have been going out each day & passing out food to the surrounding families…

During our times out, we have met some of the sweetest Moldavians…We like to call them babushkas (not sure of spelling – Russian for Grandma). It is some unfortunate situations with some heart wrenching moments but amazing memories on the race.
Our guys have been working so hard…I know it is hard to tell in this particular photo but they have been doing some pretty hard stuff everyday. We are so proud to be working and serving along side the amazing MOG’s πŸ™‚ (Men Of God) They have taught us a lot about what men of God should look like…
We had the opportunity to bring this woman food and pray for her and she blessed us with fresh pears : )
We’ve all spent time with vegetable too : ) We harvested, cleaned, sorted…
These precious woman were so excited to have visitors…The woman in the green is our friend Veronica’s grandmother and she kept putting hazelnuts in my jacket pockets πŸ™‚
Moldova has been an interesting month just because of timing I think…We are so close to being home and I think some days it is easy for me to check out because of that. It has been a challenge to not be home in my head and heart. I am still here with my squad mates and teammates. I am still here as missionary, as a servant to this ministry and these people. I have to remind myself of that fact. I find though that God still uses me and blesses me even when I don’t want to be used. Interesting how God does that. He knows what I need when I have no clue what I need or when I think I need alone time or distance. I find myself thinking I don’t want to go and do this until I do it and am reminded of God’s glory and of God’s divine nature. I remember what is beautiful about the King and what is beautiful about this place specifically when I see God doing amazing things. I see the King when He shows me people that need Him. I see the King when He reminds me that the nations are His & that He created these people the same way He created me. Oh how foolish I am and how sovereign the King is…Praise Him who was, is, and is to come.
We are here in the village of Cornesti, Moldova until Sunday and then we travel to Chisinau, Moldova. We stay the night in a hotel and then take an overnight bus to Brasov, Romania for FINAL Debrief πŸ™‚ …..Cannot believe it is here. I will be home in
12 days

not that I am excited or anything. The countdown has begun…See you guys soon πŸ™‚
