Team Maliance spent the last two days teaching various subjects in English to the Thai students of Ban Khamsa-art School in a near by village. It was a privilege that I so enjoyed and would do all over again had I the opportunity. I taught my students numbers and quickly found how each class had their specific personality. I also found how each class went in a different direction and was surprising. I loved being able to teach the kids and learn from them as well. We were able to teach in rotations all day and also lead/coordinate the students during their various breaks doing songs, games, dancing, etc…We, in two days, were loved in so many ways and this place has become a place that is very close to my heart. We were provided with lunch, snacks, unexpected bottles of water, laughter, conversation, and hospitality. We had the opportunity to teach the gospel which is not usually allowed. Thank you God. We had people who completed trusted in us and supported us through out the two days. Two days is such a short amount of time but the way we were treated was amazing. The end of the second day came quickly and we were given a ceremony in which the directors and teachers awarded us. The teachers/directors presented certificates as well as a long scarf that they tie around your waist signifying that they love you. It was a great privilege and memory that I get to smile about. Meet those amazing students, teachers, and directors at Ban Khamsa-art School :
