My name is Lyndsey Mackown and this is my World Race. Pre-race, I currently live in Edmond, Oklahoma and I am a recent graduate at the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. My life isn’t defined by who I am, but Whose I am. God created me as a born traveler. I was born overseas and have had the opportunity to travel for 23 years now. My calling is to explore and make Him known. In August of 2016 I will begin my journey around the world with The World Race. The Lord so clearly called me to this in September of 2014 and I’ve been obedient to this calling since that day. In Mark, chapter 16, God calls us to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. He also calls us to go into our neighborhoods and classrooms. He calls us to lay hands on the sick and speak Truth. We have the ability to [GO] out and preach the Gospel – everywhere. I ask that you join me in praying for this upcoming journey and the places God will call me and my squad to go.
