So, I think that “home grown” is kind of a country saying, BUT I really wanted to express how absolutely amazing it is to have family, friends, and church family to come HOME to!  I have spent the last 5-ish months living back in my hometown of Bonham, TX and it has blown me away how much at home I still feel after 4 years of being away at college.  I have such a wonderful support base going into The World Race of people from my church that I am so excited to share in this ministry and this World Race with over the next year.  People come to me daily and ask about my support and have other questions about The Race and I LOVE IT!  It encourages me so much to know that I have people here that will be praying for me fervently while I am in these 11 countries doing all of these crazy things and sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ with those that are lost and hurting!  I am “home-grown” and I would not be who I am today without my home peeps!

Yesterday I had a Bake Sale Fundraiser and WOW, God is so-o good!  I raised way more money than I originally thought that I was going to!  So many ladies and gentlemen in my church baked cakes, cookies, and pies for me to sell and many of them bought something else when they brought theirs!  I met my $5000 goal, and now am praying for my $7000 goal that is to be reached by November 30!  I know that God is going to provide, and I can’t wait to see how He does it!
