Funeral begins.  Casket is closed.  For a split second it feels like this is the end.  As the top of that casket closes each time I get this churning feeling in my stomach and my heart drops in my chest, BUT after that split second there is always the every-faithful and comforting reminder that this IS NOT THE END!  As we at the funeral are mourning and crying, my family members are rejoicing in Heaven and in AWE as they look upon the precious face of Jesus.

My family and I have gone through a ROUGH couple of months!  My great-grandpa (Daddy C), my Uncle Donny, and my Grandma (Meme) have passed away and not only their deaths, but also the traveling, making funeral arrangements, and now packing up all of my Papa’s (Meme’s husband) things and moving them to our house because he is not able to take care of himself (although we are so excited to have him live with us) has taken a major toll on us all.

Isn’t he cute!?
Although these things have happened and we are exhausted, we KNOW that Jesus is still Lord over all and that we have nothing to worry about.  I understand that God sees the big picture and that we don’t.  We will see our family members again.
