Over the months on the race I have met some incredible people, found a home and family in Kathmandu, found good friends in Cambodia and communities I won’t forget everywhere. But My time in J-Bay with all of you is among the best. How could I know that when traveling from Botswana to Port Elizabeth South Africa that God was leading me home. You guys might not know this, but Botswana was really hard for me. Though my community there was awesome and I loved my host, I spent a lot of time missing home, desperate to see my family. I didn’t feel very close to God and I felt relatively useless as a missionary. The gift that God gave me through all of you went above and beyond the love and belonging that I thought I needed. It was a perfect halfway month, and an amazing breath of fresh air that was a gift from God that I will never forget. Every time I think of you all I will praise God for the time He gave me with you all. And weather we get the opportunity to see each other again in life or not I can’t wait to have another family game night with you all in heaven.
