I thought I would post what I’m doing right now for those of you who are curious!

Before I leave for the World Race, I decided to go to the Kanakuk Institute. I just finished my second week here and let me tell you, this place is life changing. The Kanakuk Institute is an 8 month program which gives students 12 credits toward their masters while learning biblical truth. At the end of the semester, each student stands in front of a panel of judges who intensely question their faith. Students come from all different majors and surprising to some, the majority of people here are not planning on going into vocational ministry. Students desire to know the Bible better and get a good grasp on what they believe before they enter nursing, teaching, business, etc. That’s where I am. Honestly, I don’t want to go into ministry. I would love to work for an advertising agency in a large city. Right now though, I feel confident that God is calling me overseas to do ministry and I must be prepared. I’m the type of person that takes a long time to make a decision. I’m a person who doubts. But the amazing thing about The World Race is that I truly feel like this is where God wants me to be.
