GIVE UP TO GIVE

New Year New You Right?

If you are trying to kick a bad habit starting out this New Year, why not get rid of it and donate the money you saved by kicking that habit? Not only are you starting out your New Year HELPING YOURSELF, you are HELPING OTHERS as well! WIN, WIN!

So, when someone asks you “Why are you not drinking coffee (eating ice-cream, junk food, etc) this month?” you can say (instead of the normal “I just want to be healthy” spill) “I decided to donate the money I usually spend this month to a woman who is going on The World Race”. And vwalla! Just like that, you have started a pretty cool conversation started!

If you would like to participate you can do one of 2 things, you can go to the support Lyndi link and donate or you can choose a box (from the boxing project I explained in my last post) and donate the amount of one of the boxes that need to be crossed off!

Summary:

1. Choose your habit you want to stop (such as eating desserts), Donate the money you would have spent on that habit at my support Lyndi link

2. Donate each time you go back to your bad habit/mess up (if you don’t mess up great! I’m glad this could hold you accountable some how!)

3.  Create a New Conversation When someone asks you “Why are you not drinking coffee (eating ice-cream, junk food, etc) this month?” you can say (instead of the normal “I just want to be healthy” spill) “I decided to donate the money I usually spend this month to a woman who is going on The World Race”. And vwalla! Just like that, you have started a pretty cool conversation started!

Again, you can choose a box (from the boxing project I explained in my last post) and donate the amount of one of the boxes that need to be crossed off or just donate at my link!

You guys are Rock Stars! Thanks for your support! I’d love to hear how this helps you with your new year resolutions!
