This is clickbait.

But now that you are all here, I want to share with you what my ministry in Malaysia looks like!

First of all, Malaysia is BEAUTIFUL. We are living in Penang, a little island off the coast. Penang is full of street art, diverse culture, and incredible food! (Penang is one of the food capitals of the world). I’ve loved getting the chance to explore the city and immerse myself into the culture here.

So the real question…what does ministry look like?

I am working at PenHop this month, which stands for Penang House of Prayer. Heres a day by day of what I do.

Monday:

1:30pm-2:45pm – Clean PenHop

3:00pm-5:00pm – devo, prayer, worship, etc

5:00pm-6:00pm – Active engaging in small group intercession

Tuesday:

10:00am-12:30pm – Teachings on various topics about prayer and intercession

3:00pm-10:00pm – Prayer, worship, actively engaging in intercession

Wednesday/Thursday:

Participating in various ministries; i.e. Working/teaching at a refugee school

Friday:

8:00pm-12:00am – Friday Night Burn! This is devo, worship, prayer, intercession, etc. This is done so late on a Friday because Penang is a night town, so they wanted there to be constant and active worship throughout the night!

This ministry looks so different from anything I have experienced this far on the race. Im fighting a spiritual battle for the Kingdom, not just a physical one. It is mentally and spiritually taxing, but it is SO worth it. I have the space and environment to soak in the presence of the Lord for hours at a time. In such a busy world, my ministry is solely to engage in prayer for myself and others.

With that being said, I would love nothing more than to go into battle for you. I want to pray for you, to listen to what the Lord has to say to you, to speak words over you, and to encourage, support, and love you the way that you have done for me! Please send me your prayer requests, struggles, praises, ANYTHING. You can comment them, facebook message them, email them ([email protected]), or text them.
