First, let me explain the title of this blog… Our team ate curry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner almost every day this month. Please try to imagine waking up in the morning and getting to greet your stomach with spicy curry every day. I’ll just say that sometimes, our stomachs did not respond so well to this treatment. There was a song that the people would sing in church in their tamil language that had a certain part in the chorus that sounded like they were saying “hot curry poo”. Therefore, this song… or the lyrics we adjusted… became the theme song of our month. See? As I mentioned in the “Is This Real Life? (India)” blog, bowel movements are a totally acceptable topic of conversation on the race. My life is weird.

Anyway….

This month, we preached…

And preached…

And preached, and preached…

We had some help acting out Bible stories…

Attended a small portion of an Indian wedding…

We tried new foods which we loved…

 (Jack Fruit)

Made new friends in our bedroom…

And at the churches…

And at the beach…

We got saris as gifts from our contacts…

And just all around acted like fools…
