The expected and bittersweet event of team changes happened at debrief! 3 Squad leaders were raised up and one of our alumni squad leader is staying for another few months! I get to serve as team leader again for the next 2-4 months and I am excited to see how God will continue to grow and challenge me through it!
Team Alegria went through some joyful and tough times. We had to fight to make it work, but we ended well and we will always have a bond! I love these girls and am blessed to have worked with all of them. The Lord grew each of them in so many ways and it has been a blessing to witness that! Casey, Isa, Benita, TJ and Karli, I love you all so stinking much! Continue to be a blessing and grow in the Lord with you next teams!

INTRODUCING TEAM GIRASOLES!
Team changes are a good "new start" on the Race. They have allowed me to look back on the last 4 months which have taken me to alot of broken places and have given me perspective for how I want the next 7 months to look like! I has been a good thing. I am really blessed to learn and grow with this new group of girls.
We chose the Spanish name "Girasoles" ( Hira-sol-ays) because not only does it mean "Sunflowers" but the two root words in the name means "To follow around the Sun". We all have a huge hunger for the Lord coming into a new team and thus it is a reminder of who we are and Who we follow: THE SON.
I am excited to spend the next few months with these beautiful ladies. Sabrina, Sandra, Liv, Benita, Cassandra and Christina I love you guys alot and am blessed to live life with you all!
