I have always appreciated the P.S., mostly because I never have any hope of remembering everything I wanted to say the first time around. Just a little bit of goodness left over for the very end, like the last bite of pie.
I want to give you all a quick update of what is happening in my life and how you can keep up with all of my adventures.
First of all, I have a completely new and permanent website and blog. All you need to do is click on the link below, enter your email address and you can continue to read about all that God is doing in and through my life!
Second of all, I am moving to Spain! This October I will be attending G42 Leadership Academy. The six month program focuses on discipleship, community and ministry to help interns discover how to take the unique talents and calling God has given us and turn them into real and tangible ways to spread His Kingdom on Earth. The goal is to develop missionaries, church planters, non-profit developers and a generation of leaders who are dedicated to the spread of the Gospel.
My heart was pulled to make this decision not because it sounded exciting, or because it was in Spain, or because people were telling me to do it. I was drawn to it because of the people I have met who are or have been a part of it. People who are fully alive and walking out their calling. Vibrant, mature, free people completely confident in their identity and in their Savior. The kind of people I want to learn from and be surrounded by. The kind of people I want to be like.
I’m willing to follow wherever God leads me. It would be cool if right now that meant something really faith challenging and world impacting, like starting an orphanage or planting a church. But I’m not ready yet and I’m willing to admit that. I need some mentorship, some guidance and some really life changing community. I believe this next step will give life and feet to the desires and passions that began to grow in me while on the race but haven't yet had a chance to be fulfilled.
I don’t think G42 is the answer, I don’t think it is going to prepare me or change me. God is the answer. He is the only one who can lead me into the calling He has for me, but I believe He wants to use G42 to do that. I can't wait to find out what He has in store for me there!
