While the main focus of three of our team's month in Thailand was to work in the bars, three of us spent less time in the bars and where able to work with children who live in the slums. By building relationships with these children and eventually with their families, hopefully the families can be prevented from sending their children to work in the bar district and the children can avoid feeling the pressure to prostitute themselves to provide for their family.

So this month we taught English.

Colored a lot.

Rub-on tattoos, my favorite.

Arts and crafts!

Frisbee. This is Michael, he worked with YWAM and joined us most days.

Jump rope!

Football.

Acrobatics.

Free water and snacks.

Some of the children.

Please pray for this girl. Her name is Gita. She is stunning, and she is super sweet. One night while we were at the bars, we saw her with an older woman who was selling bracelets and this was the first time that she had been seen in the bars. Children are sent out to sell things like flowers and bracelets to accustom them to the bars. Please pray for her safety and that she never returns.
