Oh Kenya….
So this month we are living on the Athi River YWAM Base. Which is seriously the best thing ever for my soul this last month. We are in the middle of the bush bush with all the comfortable items we seek to love and enjoy. We have a literal safari behind our house were we have seen giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelle, and wildebeest when we go for walks. It is the beauty and the peaceful atmosphere that makes this place feel like a home to me and my team.
This month we are doing door to door evangelism and a kid’s camp alongside the DTS (YWAM) group that is doing a justice and restoration discipleship training school. Ministry with the DTS group has been challenging with cultural differences but more rewarding in the end. I have made so many new friendships and had so much fun with these people.
Door to door evangelism has never been my favorite ministry. So going into this month I was worried that is was going to be something that I hated. I figured it would be something that I would push through and it was not something I had hoped for for my last month of the race. However this was the plan that I had for the month.
For the first week we did door to door in a nearby town and each day we would travel to and from. After door to door we would do open air with the local church we were partnering with called Wildfire ministries. Open air was a time where I was able to really love on some of the cutest kids in the entire world.
For the second we were moved to a town about an hour away called Katangi. It was bush bush upon bush bush. We continued to do door to door ministry here. It was a very hard week because of conditions, homes were miles away from each other, and the sun was a new kind of hot to us. A mix of huge cultural differences, mixed with adorable kids, a baby (born that day) goat, the sweetest lady in the world that let us charge our phones, new relationships forming, laughter, beat boxing, and an amazing prayer partner.
The week we are currently going into we will be doing kids camp. At this moment I have no idea exactly what this looks like. I just know get to love on some amazing kiddos for a week to finish off my race well.

_Guys I would love to ask for you to partner with me on some future plans and dreams that I have for my life. I would love for God to show me my exact path that I should take and open up doors for me to walk through. Also pray that the transition back to America will be smooth and easy.
