(I wrote this during the first few days in Lesotho).

During our debrief meeting with our leaders in Nelspruit, we concluded that our team had problems with unity and coherency, which we had discussed during our final days in Swazi. The wide variety of personalities on our team has made it difficult to organize us, and during all-squad month, we mostly hung out with people from other teams. This led to us not having some of our daily team meetings, which detracted even more from our unity.

It is good to know our whole squad, but we realized that we still don’t know our own team members as well as some other people on the squad. This next month in Lesotho will definitely be healthy for us since we are alone as a team. We are already growing closer together and seeing the benefit of having such different personalities and strengths.

A funny side note, all of our conversations seem to end up on the subject of food, so at least we all have that in common, haha!
