Hey y’all!
It’s been over a month since I last blogged. That sucks. I’m sorry.
But since my last post, I’ve made some big decisions regarding my post-Race plans! I’ll be returning to Huntsville June 6, and would love to spend some time with each and every one of you reading this at some point over the summer to share about what the Lord has done in my life over the past 9 months, as well as hear about your lives!!
I will be home from June until September 2, and then… IM GOING ON THE WORLD RACE GAP YEAR!!!! (Again) (Well kinda) (But only for 3 months)
Let me explain. The WRGY program is starting a new leadership position called the Alumni Team Leader. What this means is that I will lead a team for 3 months until they get the hang of things, and raise someone else up to lead the team. So starting in September I will have a team to disciple spiritually, pour into daily, and do ministry with until December. Over the past 9 months, the Lord has shown me how important it is to give away all of the gifts He has given me, because they’re not mine to keep. So I will be spending 3 more months giving away what the Lord has blessed me with, and leading others, pushing them to do the same.
“Where are you going? How many people will be on your team? Do you have to fundraise again?” These are all questions you may be thinking in your head right now, so let me tell you what I know.
As of right now, I don’t know what countries I will be going to, but I will keep y’all updated as I find out more information.
The size of my team will probably be somewhere between 5-7, depending on which route I am assigned to.
Yes, I am fundraising again. The total cost for my food, lodging, and transportation for this 3 months will be $3,000.
