Greetings supporters. My blog has been silent for a while. I’ve been wrestling with some issues that have been distracting me from this responsibility; I owe you some blogs. This first one will be about fundraising. I was supposed to have all $14,951 raised by now but as you can see, I’m currently falling short of this requirement and deadline. I don’t want to go home. Not yet anyway. I’m currently laying in a hot sweaty tent in the middle of the African bush with what is most likely the worst sunburn of my life, writing this blog to ask people to donate more money, so I can keep living this dream to serve the Lord in one of the most experiential ways possible. If only you could be here with me. To see the amazing wonders I’ve seen done through these people I’m serving with. God is good and I believe that he will provide, but I can’t do this without my supporters. All of you have blessed me with so much already and I can’t thank you enough. I guess what I’m really asking is that in this spirit of Christmas and giving, is that you could give a little bit more. I spent my Christmas eating fried chicken, candy, and really bad cake, while walking around shirtless in the African heat of Livingstone, Zambia (I’ve showered twice this whole month). If God does not compel you to donate, that’s okay. The Lord works all things together for his glory in the end. I have faith. Keep my squad in your prayers as we finish up this month of Manistry, and head to debrief in Malawi where we will get new teams. I love you all.
