Greetings friends, family, and other supporters. This will be my last blog regarding the World Race unless I think of any amazing stories from these past 5 months that I desperately want to share. I am writing this final blog because I would regretfully like to inform all of you that I have made some decisions that violated my contract with Adventures in Missions. Due to these decisions among other things, our leadership team has deemed me unfit for the squad anymore and I am currently back in the United States. Although my Race is coming to an end 4 months earlier than we would’ve hoped, this does not take away from the 5 months I’ve had of overwhelming growth and serious work that the Lord has done in my life. I made the decisions that I did, and I’m shamefully bearing the consequences, but I know there’s more in store for me that’s all a part of His plan. For this next part of my journey I will be living in Colorado with my beloved squad coaches, the Hamblin’s. I can’t wait to walk into deeper spirituality with these strong people. I’d like to thank everyone that helped me fundraise and go as far as I went. You’ve all helped and supported me so much, and now I need support and prayer more than ever. Maybe if you have ever let down everyone that could possibly care about then you can relate to how I feel. I made choices that I did but I won’t let them define me; there’s more in store for me yet.
