Hello Family, Friends, and Blog Followers!
This past week was spent in debrief as a squad. Our coaches, Bruce and Marcy, came to visit and it was such a great time of relaxation, as well as challenge for us. We had worship, teaching, prayer, and lots of down time to restore our minds for the next months ahead.
We have arrived in Managua, Nicaragua for the start of Month #3 on the World Race! Yesterday, we travelled within 4 countries over the course of 18 hours to get here. This morning, there is a bus coming to bring us to our ministry for the month, of which we have very limited details. We do know that the site will not have internet, so you will most likely not hear much from us this month.
Update about our team: Raised to Life has said farewell to one of our teammates, Sidney Ann Fowler, as she was asked to become team leader for another team. We have all become such a tight knit family, and although it was extremely painful to let her go, we are confident that God has something much bigger in store for all of us. God has given Sidney a gift for leadership that we all experienced, and she has so much to give her new team. I am so blessed to have spent the last 2 months with Sid. She will be a forever friend and I cannot wait to see how she is transformed and stretched because of this change.
We will still be writing blogs throughout the month, but may not be able to post them until the end of the month because of internet limitations. Please keep our team in your prayers as we transition into Nicaragua and into our new ministry.
