It’s official: I will be departing for Africa exactly one
month from today. The reality of that statement has not set in yet at all, but
the amount of preparation that needs to happen between now and then is
definitely at the forefront of my mind. It seems like I have much to do in not
a whole lot of time, so, naturally, this blog post is about postcards.

I don’t know about you, but I love getting postcards from
people in the mail. Not only does it allow to me live vicariously through their
awesome experience, but it lets me know that they are thinking about me even
while otherwise occupied with their awesome experience. This is why I want to
send you all postcards!

There are two ways to receive one of these awesome
postcards:

  1. Donate any amount to my support account between now and
September 10th. Click here to find out how to do that.
  2.  Share my blog through Facebook, email, your own blog,
or any other social media and encourage others to donate and read my blog.

Do either (or both!) of these things and I will send you a
postcard while on the race! Just let me know your address and your country of choice. You will
probably want to pick multiple countries in case mailing things turns out to be
difficult in one place or another. Here’s the list of countries to choose from.

Thus far I have about 70% of the funds I need for this trip,
WOW! I cannot thank everyone enough for the support. I knew that God would
provide the necessary funds but I am so blessed not to be down to the wire with
fundraising. However, having as much as possible raised before I leave will alleviate so
much stress while on the trip, so please please spread the word and consider
donating before September 10th!

P.S. If you are a monthly donor you will automatically
donate between now and September 10th, so feel free to give me your address
so I can send you a postcard!
