Hello everyone!!!

A couple of weeks ago, our admissions advisor informed us that our World Race Route had cancelled for reasons involving Covid. Do not fret! We were offered several options to continue our call to missions. Among the several options, I very quickly narrowed it down to two.

1) Postpone your trip to January and launch internationally then.

2) Launch in October and perform missions in the States until January, then proceed to launch internationally in January.

My first instinct was to absolutely just postpone my race until January. When I signed up for the World Race, I had my sights set on international missions. I would also have more time to fundraise as well as having the opportunity to spend the holidays with my family. It seemed it was going to be an easy decision… or so I thought.

I wanted so badly to commit to the January route, but I felt a tug on my heart and soul. I fought it for the entire week we had to make the decision. The Lord was calling me, and the last night before our decision deadline, I listened.

The Lord originally called me to the October route for a reason. It would be wrong of me to question his plan. After make this realization, it all started to make sense. A major reason I feel I was called to this trip was to discover my calling in the Lord‘s kingdom, wondering if that might be in mission work. It never occurred to me that he might be calling me to domestic missions. This trip gives me an opportunity to explore both domestic and international missions so that I might find God’s true calling for my life. Not to mention, our country needs Jesus just as much as anyone right now.

In the coming weeks, I will post further updates as I receive them, including the locations in the states that we will be traveling to to do missions. If you have any questions, feel free to comment on here or email me at [email protected]

Thank you all so much for your AUDACIOUS love and support! ??
