Ohhh Lucas!!! A sweet sound to my ears as there is only one person that it could be. Mr. Pairot, my host, my pastor, my friend, my role model. Pastor is such a blessing in my life. Seeing his obedience to God and his love for people is a great example for me and my team. During my first month here in Thailand my team and I had the opportunity to work in the local schools teaching English during the day and doing a skit before we left in the afternoon. The skit was then followed by pastor’s magic tricks of which he used to share the gospel. When pastor shared with the kids, whether he messed up one of his magic tricks or everything went smoothly there was always a genuine smile on his face. The way he acts happens for one reason and the reason is because he is intentional. Intentionally joyful. Intentionally prayed up. Intentionally choosing Christ each and everyday. That is the type of person I strive to be. And the person I encourage you all to seek after. Today I saw the outcome of the work Pastor and my team are doing here. We plant seeds with everyone we come in contact with; whether those people be the kids in the schools, the guy on the motorbike, the man washing his chicken, or the people we meet when going door to door. These are all moments and relations I cherish because I know God is working in them. Yesterday and today we had a medical team come and tend to the people we had invited to the mini-clinic. After checking them out and giving them medicine they started to explain the gospel and the need for a relationship with Christ. These past two days we saw hundreds of people and 10 or more ACCEPTED CHRIST. These people chose to push away the false idols in their life and follow Christ. They found forgiveness in his love and grace; something that doesn’t exist in Buddhist teaching. This was a great success, I’m so blessed to be a part of the body of Christ.
Remember to just do what you can do and trust that God will take care of the rest.

Blessings,
