Judgment. That’s something I’ve had to learn to stay away from. I used to be a critical Christian placing myself above others because I’m “righteous” right? And “I’m better than you” when all of this only promoted me, showed hate to others and didn’t even come close to making God happy. The Bible over and over again commands us to love. Not to love if everything is going great. Not to just love someone when they’re nice to you, or when they’re walking a straight path. But to love no matter what.
I’m not going to agree when people are doing wrong things or say it is right, but I refuse to tell them they’re less than me or God doesn’t love them for their actions, because Gods grace is more than enough to handle our mistakes. I want to be the light a person can come running to and ask for help when they’re struggling rather than a judgmental Pharisee in which Jesus resented.
