Hello! I just want to say how overwhelmed I am at how God is providing! So far, I’ve raised more than $11,000 for my World Race trip! Praise God! Thank you to all of you who have so graciously supported me. I especially want to thank an anonymous donor who gave $1,000! God knows who you are, even if I never will. Thank you!

I still need a few thousand dollars more to be fully funded, and anything I raise over that can help pay for my flights to training in October, for visas, vaccinations and other expenses. I know God will continue to provide as He has already done. If you haven’t given yet and would like to, just click on the Support Me link to the left.

This morning in Sunday School we watched Louie Giglio’s DVD Fruitcake and Ice Cream. I’m a big Louie fan, and I’ve been wondering what this one was about. It was so good! It’s a testimony of a girl coming to Christ through the influence of her Christian roommate at college. I don’t want to ruin the story – you need to see it for yourself! But, it really made an impact on our class. It just shows that we need to be willing to share the love of Christ with those who are hurting and lost in this world.  As Christians, we want to live radically for Christ, but at the same time, we need to recognize that nonChristians don’t understand our thinking. They don’t know! We need to love them and share with them without being judgmental. It’s so cool to see how God works in people’s lives. We just need to be willing to share the hope that we have, and let God do the rest.

That definitely challenged me and encouraged me today. I pray that God will use me as a witness wherever I am – whether it’s in a foreign country around the world or in my home town.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
