With trainging camp over…

And launch all wrapped up…

Ministry has begun!
As I trekked a mile with my equipment and packs, tented outdoors, shared gear, ate way too much rice (haha), got filled with much wisdom from teachings, got my first team, and SO MUCH MORE, I never imagined my life would be so incredibly challenged and shaped! With our first few days of ministry over, I’m reflecting back. Training camp, launch, and off days have been wonderful, but monk chats where my team has gotten to share the gospel, and prayer walks when my team showers a bar street in the slums with prayer for God’s revival, have really been my highlight thus far.
I never thought I’d share God with monks. I never thought I’d walk miles to pray over people who are in spiritually dark chains. I never thought that traveling the world for God’s purpose and glory would be this rewarding! Don’t get me wrong…it’s not easy. Spiritual attacks are happening, but the fact that I’m part of God’s winning team gives me the smile on my face when I fight back against it with God’s word. This journey is off to an amazing start!
As I reflect, I can’t help but remember my 9-5. Those back home that may be reading my blog, please know that traveling the world for God’s gospel isn’t for everyone. While you may be at home, comfortable, showered, and loving life, please remember that God’s glory can shine through you too. You may not get to share the gospel with a monk, but could you share it with a co-worker? You may not be prayer walking the slums, but could you prayer walk your neighborhood? Just think how different “home” could be if we took “missionary work” home.
