Yep, you read right. It has been an amazing three months but, I am going home.. I wish there was a way this wasn’t true but…

oh wait. There is a way!! Now that I have your attention – I want to inform each of you as my supporters that I still have $3,463 more dollars to raise in order to be fully funded. I have to have all the money by December 29 or I face the possibility of being sent home early. I have so much faith and know that the Lord is going to provide as he has through each deadline in this process. Please join with me in this journey so I can finish this year out doing what I love so much. Click the orange donate button at the top right hand side of this page. Thanks so much in advance!!!

Let me tell ya a bit about Zimbabwe. The country I have absolutely fallen for. Africa is the coolest let me tell ya. How blessed am I to be able to spend four months total here?? In Zimbabwe our ministry has been a bit of everything you could think of ~ but mostly we’ve been doing something you would not predict. We have been distributing a free newspaper called “Challenge: The Good News Paper” which is essentially a christian news paper that tells stories of other Christians coming to Christ. You can check out their articles @ ( http://www.challengenews.org ) Seriously, check them out they have some amazing stories in there. Through distributing these papers everyday, we have made friends with all sorts of street performers, homeless people, street kids, and all kinds of vendors. I’ve loved getting to say hello to my friend Carlos every day who is a shoe shiner. He takes so much pride in his country and loves Zimbabwe. I invited him to church this Sunday, and the cooler thing is that he came. He told me that he hasn’t been to church in years. Jesus is doing stuff here – let me tell you!!! Also, while distributing these papers a couple of days ago, I saw a policeman walking down and decided to give him one when realized that he had two prisoners behind him handcuffed. I still decided to give the policeman a paper anyway, and he then informed me that the two men who were handcuffed behind him had stolen and were indeed thieves. It was then I asked the policeman if I could pray for them, honestly thinking he’d say no. To my surprise, he said yes. I spoke life over each of these young men. I asked that the Lord would forgive them of their sin just as He had forgiven me. I asked that the Lord would change their hearts. That he would give them a new found joy that can only come from the Holy Spirit. Pretty awesome month so far. I leave for Zambia in only NINE days. This month has flown. I sure am gonna miss this country.

 Prayer Request:

– FUNDRAISING! Seriously right now, with just one month left to raise a little over $3,000 dollars I am a bit stressed about this. But – I know this is possible. Mostly because we have raised that amount together before. In August before I left we raised $3,695 together. Our God is so much bigger than that dollar amount. I know for a fact that He is going to provide through each of you!!

– Its hard leaving the connections you make in each country. Be praying for my squad as we move locations in the next 9 days. Also for the people we’ve met and are leaving.

– Continue praying for my heart. Theres a lot happening inside of it right now. The Lord is molding me this year. I feel blessings on blessings.

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to read. You are each apart of this journey. Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already, and comment below as well! Love the encouragement I receive from each of you. Thanks again!!
