I have not written a blog in what seems like forever. I want to first say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of my going on this trip; through prayers, advice, and sending me financially. The past few months have been crazy busy and ontop of that I have been trying to prepare for training camp (July 10-20) and for departure day(~Sept 9). Gathering equipment to be gone for 9-months is a colossal task from the start. Not only have I been gathering gear, but I have been growing closer to Christ. Very soon my sole goal when I wake up in the morning will be furthering the Kingdom, with no distractions that everyday life would put in the way of giving all that I am for God. I am so excited that training is in less than three weeks and I will be able to glimpse the awesome things God has in for our team this next year. If you have not read my previous blog from way back please do so; I encourage you to subscribe to this blog so that once I have left you can stay connected with everything I will be doing. I should be writing far more often when September comes around.
