Hey guys thanks for checking out my WRGY blog!! My name is Logan Gee and I’m from Sacramento California. I’m 18 and I am soooo looking forward to what God has in store for me during my gap year. Some of my favorite things to do include running, reading and spending time with my family. I have two older brothers, a younger sister and two loving parents. My parents taught me about God from a young age and I accepted Jesus into my life when I was four. I truly made my relationship with God my own when I went to Summit Conference in the summer of my freshman year of high school. The country I am most looking forward to visiting is probably Thailand because I have heard it is beautiful and I feel like God is pulling me in that direction.
In November of 2017 I went on my first missions trip to Ecuador and it was an unforgettable experience. My church partnered with Compassion International to plant a church in Chone Ecuador in 2012 and we got the chance to visit and support the staff. While we were there we got to take the staff on a fun day, pray over them, and refresh them for ministry. We also did house visits with some of the Compassion sponsored children and facilitated a Vacation Bible School for the children in the town. This experience was totally used by God to show my heart for missions and to guide me towards His plan. I saw God’s love in the smiling faces and felt it in the hugs from people I had never met before. Something that I thought was really cool was that God gave me a preview of His power before we even left on the missions trip when I was fundraising and He gave me and my family a sense of calm and trust that He would provide the funds necessary for me to go on the trip, and thanks to His wonderful workings I saw the places and things God can do if you put your trust in Him. Also BIG thanks to everyone who supported me in my journey and allowed God’s love and ways to be known in me and the people of Chone Ecuador. Thanks for checking my blog out and if you have any questions about me or my missionary trip to Ecuador feel free to ask.
