What’s up peeps! This is a blog written by my teammate See Eun that describes our next season of life well/ has pictures! So, I figured I would repost it! Enjoy.
I am so excited to enter into this new season and even more excited to be serving alongside my new team,
The Fanny Pack.
Hannah and Justin (formerly known as the Wonder Twins) are our amazingly wonderful, completely and perfectly opposite alumni squad leaders who have been living with and serving us for the last 4 months. The joy and excitement they carry is contagious and they have the unique ability to recognize and draw out the best in us. Their intentionality and genuine desire to pour into us has been so influential in our journey throughout the race. It will be an incredible blessing and privilege to serve alongside them. Hannah will be staying on the field for the duration of the race, and sadly Justin will only be with us until the end of month 5.
Logan and I are the raised up squad leaders that will join Hannah and Justin in serving and loving our squad. Logan served the first 4 months as an Unsung Heroes Coordinator, and I, as a team leader for the ladies of Team F.I.E.R.C.E. We come from such different backgrounds and carry unique perspectives, but it’s amazing to see how the Lord has called us both to this place and how He’s been preparing us for this all along. Beginning our race as travel buddies, I am excited to experience this new season of the race with him and to continue to learn, challenge, grow, and serve together.
The other members of our team include our wonderful coaches- Matt and Cindy, and our ever-so-lovely squad mentor- Renee. They bring such depth and wisdom to our squad with their experiences on the field and their desire to walk with the Spirit. They lovingly challenge us and push us to go deeper to experience the fullness of what God has for us.
I am so excited to love, grow, experience, laugh, dance, travel, serve, encourage, empower, and just live life with these incredible people. The Lord has brought us together during this season of life for a specific purpose and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for us and for our squad.
Prayer requests:
Please pray for our new teams- that in this new season of change, people will be open and embrace what the Lord has for them. Change fosters growth, but only if people are continually choosing to grow. So pray that each member of the team will choose to go deeper, to intentionally pursue one another, and to be vulnerable with each other. Please pray that teams will not remain as simply teams, but will function as a family and as one body with one purpose.
Please pray for boldness, discernment, and rest for the leadership team– that as much as we are pouring into the squad, we will be filled up with the abundance of the Lord’s blessings. Please pray that as we enter into this new season with new people and a new dynamic, that we will be able to sync our hearts together and ultimately seek after the Lord’s heart. Please pray that the Lord will be the source of our boldness and that the Spirit will move in us to speak His words and act according to His will.
Please pray for finances- the final deadline is quickly approaching (June 1st) and there are still a handful of people who are in need in order to stay on the field. Personally, I am ~$4000 away from being fully funded (Hallelujah!). It has been amazing to see how the Lord has been providing and I thank every single one of you for your support through prayers or financially.
