Hi, I’m Linda-Jean Burleigh but most people call me LJ! I am from the beautiful state of New Hampshire. I am 23 and I have been an above the knee amputee for 13 years!

I was raised in a christian home and came to know the Lord at a young age. It wasn’t until I was 15 that I truly understood that God truly loved and that he had a plan for me. Though I fell away from the path he had for me after my fathers death while I was in college he spoke clearly to me in the summer of 2013 and told me it was time for me to put aside my plans and focus on his!

I have worked in the health service industry since high school. For the past year I have been blessed with the best job I could ask for, taking care of my mentally disabled aunt. It has shown me what a gift it is that I have her in my life and what unconditional love look like.

Besides working at a Christian camp I have never been on a missions trip. I also have never been outside of the country except to go to Canada. So I am very excited to see the world and what God has in store for me.

Some random facts about me, I have 6 brothers and 17 Nieces and nephews. I have many nicknames my favorite of which is PegLeg. I love to hike, take pictures, Square dance, volunteer with the FFA,  and I knit like an old lady. 🙂

If you want to know more I would love to chat! I look forward to sharing this journey I have before me with you all! Im thankful for you and the time you have taking to check out my blog!
