Last month was full of challenges, joy, and lots of laughter. Our village welcomed us into their family, and even gave us our very own tribal name (my name is Adjua). We spent most of our month dancing and singing and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The joy in this country was contagious and their love for the Lord was inspiring. Côte d’Ivoire, thank you for showing me what it looks like to live fully and unashamedly for the Lord. Thank you for teaching me how to dance, cook, and draw water from the well, all while wearing a baby on my back like a true African woman. And most of all, thank you for teaching me that Joy isn’t circumstantial and that God’s plan is far better than our own. This country will forever have a place in my heart.

I hope you enjoy this highlight video of my time there and get a glimpse into the joy that was so evidently from the Lord!
