Dear Family and Friends,

Those of you who know me are aware of my love of adventure  so I am SO excited to tell you about this next chapter of my life about to unfold. I’m going to be graduating high school on June 4th and soon after that I will be living out an incredible adventure that God has laid before me. I am taking a year “off”, before I go to college to be a part of a 9 month mission trip called the World Race: Gap Year. The World Race is part of Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational missions organization that has sent over 100,000 people into the mission field since 1989. I will be leaving in August 2016 to travel to Albania, the Philippines, and South Africa. While in each of these regions, my team will be partnering with local churches and ministries to serve in areas of need that include preaching the Gospel, building homes, feeding the hungry, praying for healing over the sick, helping victims of human trafficking, teaching, and evangelizing.

I have no words for how thankful I am that God has given me this opportunity. I am being called to live a life far outside of my comfort zone to one lived out of a 50 pound backpack. I am going to be learning to rely on the Lord in more ways than I could imagine; stepping away from my friends, family, my closet full of clothes, hot showers, this city of Kenosha that I’ve lived in for a majority of my life, and allowing the Lord to mold me into the follower of Christ that he intends for me to be.

This is a BIG thing for me, and it can sometimes seem intimidating. It is most definitely not something I can do alone, and that is why I’m asking for your help. I know that God can provide in incredible ways and I am asking that you join me on this journey through your financial and prayer support.

I need to raise $13,805 for this trip which includes the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and all other necessities while abroad. This sum seems very overwhelming, but I know that God will supply me with the funds I need. By supporting this mission, you are a part of God’s Kingdom work! I know that He wants to bless me through this trip and He wants to bless you too.

I am praying that God would place on your heart the best way for you to support me. If through prayer, please pray for my teammates and myself as we continue preparing for this 9 month mission. If you are able to financially support me, please follow the donation logistics below. There are some financial deadlines that I must meet in order to depart according to schedule. So your prompt consideration would be greatly appreciated. I am so excited to see how God will work and be glorified in this process.

Thank you, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

May God Bless You,

Lizzie Hrycyniak
