After this fourteen hour layover in Boston and another fourteen hour one in Qatar and just a few plane rides, I will be in Swaziland this upcoming week ! Right now I am sitting in the airport in Boston with a group of my squamates guarding our bags waiting to go out to get lunch. It is crazy for me to believe that in a few days I will be in another country starting ministry. It has felt so good to finally be back with with my team and begin this whole process.

When I got to launch we had a couple more sessions over some practical things and some really great teachings, but one thing that I was really looking forward to was worshiping with everyone again. I love to watch everyone worship in their own way and I just feel so close to the Lord that way. One night as we were all worshiping together I heard this voice say “Welcome Home” to me. I felt such peace in that moment because even though I already know that this is where the Lord has called me, I felt reassured that I was making the right choice. These past few weeks I have still been struggling with letting go of my plans for after the race and just being open to whatever comes my way but I was reminded this past weekend that I can surrender that for an even GREATER plan that the Lord has already put in store for me. I have finally made peace with the fact that I can not choose my own path after the race and I have to follow whatever God has for me. I have surrendered it and I am so excited to see what is next! But as for now, I am going to continue to live in the moments that the Lord has provided for me and do my best to love my squad and the people that I will encounter. I am not sure what to expect in these next few days but I am excited to do life and document it and hopefully share it with you all in the near future.

I am not sure when I will have good enough internet to post again but I cannot wait to tell you all about the adventures that await.

Please pray for safe travels over these next few days for everyone that has launched for gap year but also for my squad specifically.

With all my love,

Liz
