Hey Everybody !
Just a quick update for all of you : I am in America….for about 10 more hours lol
I have finally left India and am in New York for two days on a layover and man, do I have to say, I LOVED India and I am going to miss it so much. These past two months in India have been pure joy. The people here love us so hard and without boundaries. They are generous, funny and exemplify Christ like i’ve never seen before. They have something in them that makes them stand out from the rest of the world – the joy of Jesus Christ. “Joy” is our team name and what we strive to have pouring out of us day in and day out. From one of the first days of training camp we knew that we were a team of women who were called to walk in joy for this season of life and work towards embodying that after the race as well. Joy is the word that comes to mind when i think of India. I hope to keep in contact with all of my new friends that I made there and one day see them again.
Along with all of that exciting news, I am headed to Guatemala for my last three months later tonight ! I am pumped to see what the Lord has in store for me and my teammates there and can’t wait to meet up with everyone tomorrow morning !
