A picture is worth 1,000 words, yes!
However, there are just some things that pictures can not capture.
For instance, the look on a groom’s face as he sees his bride for the
first time walking down the aisle towards him, the joy on a child’s
face as her daddy throws her up into the air only to catch her again,
or the texture and detail of intricate artwork.

I find this a lot in God’s creation,
what we call nature. I would love to sit here and try to paint a
picture of my surroundings for you, but unfortunately, I would hate
to fail in doing this “painting justice. What I will say, is
that while traveling the world, I feel as though I get a pretty good
sense of what the earth looked like when God created it. All the
land, hundreds of different kinds of trees, plants, shrubbery, the
boulders that seem strategically placed by God himself. I get to see
nature in the raw, bare naked nature, untouched by human hands- esp
here in Africa. I have seen almost every ocean now, minus the Arctic,
and it just amazes me the colors and vastness of the deep. And, it’s
a whole new world under the surface of the water, (shout out to the
“Little Mermaid) the marine life, the bright and invigorating
colors of the the coral reef and the white powdered sand resting at
the bottom. There is just something about God’s work that absolutely
amazes me… probably because He is perfection! It really makes you
stop and praise Him with udder adoration.

It is easy to go through the routines
of our day and fail to see the glory of what our Father created. It
is easy to be out and about all day and never look up at the sky He
paints daily. It may be easy to not focus in on these things, but
it’s also sad and pathetic. It pathetic that we think we are too busy
to just stop and marvel at what He did over 2,000 years ago and still
continues to do today. But, when we come to our senses, it is
incredible to think that what God did in 7 days still amazes people
today.

I must say, I AM AMAZED!
