Only 4 well, 3 days now left of my Race. Yesterday’s WiFi was being a bit finicky so here’s yesterday’s post!
It’s a known fact, you travel a lot on the World Race. But just how much did I travel and on what?
1. By plane! By the time I get home in Chicago I will have taken 15 flights in the last 11 months. I’ve got to say the Asian and Middle Eastern airlines have comfort down- hot towels, good pillows – we even nabbed the blankets.
2. By train! We traveled by train 6 times on the Race. I love trains in Western Europe, but the train we took to Thailand from Malaysia was hands down my worst travel experience.
3. By bus! My team traveled to 5 different cities during our month in Malaysia so this number is a bit higher for me than my squad mates. I’ve been on 32 long coach buses during this journey.
4. By boat! We only took 1 boat, it was a ferry when we left Panang. it was actually really fun, I didn’t get to see much of Panang but from what I’ve heard it’s an amazing city to visit!
Only 2 more flights till I’m back in Chi town for a few hours!
