Helllooo fun friends and family!

I have arrived at my brother and sister-in-laws new house in the booming metropolis of South Charleston, OH! It is a relief to gather some peace and quiet after finishing up with training camp in Georgia last week. For more on training camp read about it HERE! It was a stretching and refreshing week. I know those two words don’t usually go well together, but there are little ways to describe those weeks when all you can come up with is “well it was goood, but hard…” I may have experienced every emotion possible… if that makes any sense at all. Now only 5 more weeks until launch and a busy 5 weeks it will be!

The weeks before training camp were a blur. It was a mixture of graduation, moving out, trying to get rid of most of my stuff and spending as much time with friends and family as humanly possible! I was fortunate enough to get to be a part of my lovely roommate Natalie’s wedding the night before flying to GA which was the absolute best way I could ever spend my last night in Bozeman. The ceremony was gorgeous. The weather with held the predicted rainstorm and lifted just in time for some incredible pictures.  There was no shortage of tears that evening seeing Max and Natalie begin their new family! They have both been a blessing in my life the past few years I have known them.

The big news of training week is that I have been selected to lead a team of 6 men and women on the World Race! This is a crazy brand new experience that I am going to need all of your prayers during this process. I will let you know more of what this entails in future updates as well as introduce you to my team!

My team: Andrew, Grayson, Shelley, Courtney and Aubree!

Since blogging is becoming more and more a priority, I am experimenting with different methods/styles etc.  I may include a news letter like this one every once in a while so you get an idea of where I am, and the regular happenings of life as this process starts rolling. I would love your feedback! Please subscribe to receive email updates so that you can keep track of me! This will be my primary method of communication once the World Race officially begins and I want to make sure that I keep you in the loop! Let me know if you are having issues subscribing and I can sign you up.

            Lots of love,
