Hello! My name is Lizete Dos Santos, I am 23 years old and was born and raised in Mbabane, Swaziland – a teeny, tiny country in South East Africa. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page and learn more about my journey as a Racer! I love the ocean, puppies and babies, rainbows, my mom’s cooking and baking, bright colours, aquariums, reading, traveling, Reese’s peanut butter cups and M&Ms, listening to music, laughing until I cry and making others laugh, arts&crafts, dancing and summer time.
My story is one of God’s divine orchestration. Over and over again I have been in awe of how the Lord has worked all things (the good, the bad and the ugly) for His ultimate good. I accepted Christ into my heart when I was 14 years old and have been on a whirlwind journey of growing in relationship with Him ever since. The verse that has so adequately captured God’s work in my life is Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”
In December 2014, I really felt the Lord calling me to serve with Adventures in Missions on the World Race. Service has always been a large part of my life growing up in Swaziland, which is filled with communities in need of hope. I am passionate about social justice and look forward to being able to partner with local churches and ministries to serve the countries of Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Kosovo, Swaziland, South Africa, Mozambique, Ecuador, Columbia, Peru and Bolivia.
