On Wednesday night, Y Squad put on a children’s carnival for the street kids that we have grown to love and adore. Thanks to Melissa Diehl, who worked her heart out for it to take place. She got support from many people back in the states in order to plan this night of us loving on these kids. YOU made a difference. For one night, the kids didn’t have to worry about where their next meal would come from or where they would sleep for the night. They got to just be kids for a change. They got to play games and win prizes. They got to have a bath, have their teeth brushed, and see the nurses…all showing them that they have immense worth and value. They were loved on relentlessly by 32 Racers who were all changed because of that night.
