The team when we arrived in Nairobi, Kenya. Exhausted and jet lagged, but super excited.
We do lots of walking. We learned to take food and water everywhere we go. Meals don’t come at normal times in Africa.
We do lots of teaching. Kids, adults, youth. It kinda gets thrown at us on the spot. We learned to be prepared to teach all the time.
Tom is really good at crazy songs. I had no idea what was going on during this song, but it was fun.
We have also walked through a lot of mud. Or fallen. Whatever.
We’ve worked with the ministry of treating or fighting jiggers. Its hard but good work. We treat men, women, and children. (also, check out the new hair do. I’m a fan.)
Tom is working fighting jiggers.
People are really thankful to have people that care to treat them. This lady didn’t speak much english but struggled to get out the words “thank you.”
We treated some beautiful children. And even had the opportunity to bless some of them with shoes. Thank you God for amazing servants like this lady who have it in their hearts to take in children that aren’t their own and care for them with such great love.
We find great joy in cramming ourselves in small places. Its really kind of fun.
God is good.
