We’ve been in the Philippines for about a week now. I have
pretty much fallen in love with Asia already. Its Christmas here from September
or October all the way until December. Pretty much the best place ever, I
think. The food here is beyond incredible. We eat a ton of rice with some of
the most amazing soups and sauces I have ever tasted. Plus we get a lot of
dessert. What could be better?
Our ministry is kind of crazy. We have so many options of
what we can do, its almost overwhelming. I’ve decided to work with Josie’s
Angels. The daughter of our contact started a ministry for the girls in the
community that we are living in. There is a home that some of the girls live in
and we do Bible studies with many more. I absolutely love working with girls
and I’m so excited to get involved with this.
We are going to do Bible studies
twice a week and also take shifts spending time at the girls’ home. Tonight I
even get to spend the night because one of the house moms is busy. Its really
exciting to get to love on these beautiful girls and pour into them.
