So this past weekend I had a garage sale. This whole thing was kinda sudden, but the way it came together was kind of incredible. I bet you want to hear about it. Okay.

So after my garage sale in Abilene, I decided to have another one after I moved back home to try to get rid of the rest of my stuff. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, we decided to have it at my grandparents. Then we didn’t really talk about it for a few months. I got back home after training camp and I was at lunch with my mom and grandma and we were talking about the garage sale and we figured out the only time we could have it was that coming weekend. Woah! Talk about getting something together fast! So I worked all that week cleaning out stuff and boxing up things for it. I even got donations from people that I never would have expected getting them from.

That Wednesday or Thursday I got a call from my aunt and uncle saying that they wanted to BBQ for the garage sale. They wanted to sell BBQ sandwiches and sausage wraps as a part of the sale. And they wanted to know if that was okay. What!!! Was that okay? Are you kidding me!!! (This is pretty much the best BBQ you have EVER eaten in your life, btw..) So this was pretty unexpected and exciting news. I was going to get to have a garage sale AND a bar-be-que! Awesome!

So I spent the night at my grandparent’s house Friday night and got up bright and early Saturday morning. My mom, grandparents, and I all set up the garage sale and I had so much more stuff than I thought. It was crazy. Then later my aunt and uncle came out and made BBQ to sell. It was a tiring day. I even had some super special helpers with me all day. (My 3 and 4 year old cousins!)

I ended up making $416 from the garage sale and BBQ combined! That is almost twice as much as my previous garage sale! It was such a successful day. God was definitely faithful and provided. Here are some pictures from the day.
