You Are Enough

Well, this is it! I leave tomorrow evening at 10pm for Ireland.  It will be eleven sweet, challenging, dirty, difficult, wonderful, unforgettable months until I am back on American soil. I learned this week that my team and I will be working/living with two other teams From our squad this month. We will be living in a house in Greystone, Ireland (about an hour south of Dublin) working with a gypsy population. How awesome is that?! Plus, we will be right on the ocean!! (YAY!) 

There has been a re-occurring theme while I have been in DC for Launch this week (other than crying,lol). A theme of awful ugly lies, followed by the beautiful truth. These lies have not come from my family, not from my loved ones, not from my team, and definitely not from God. These lies are from the enemy.  "You are not good enough, you are not strong enough, you can't do this, God won't take care of the ones you deeply care about while you're gone, God can't use you." 

I believed these. At least for a second, or an hour, or a day. But now I am sure of the truth. God is sending me to these countries because He has equipped me. He has given me such a peace and affirmation of leaving my home behind for this next year, because I know without a doubt that He has my loved ones in the palm of his hand.  I am enough. My voice is enough to speak and sing His words. I am enough through Him, through His power, through his grace. As I was told this week, the nations don't need ME, they need the presence of God. They need a miracle, they need hope, they need love. And I finally feel confident in saying that I am enough to be sent in His name. 

You are enough. You are his beloved. I cannot express how deeply I desire for everyone to understand the depth of our Father's love for us. His love cannot and will not be earned. He loves you just as you are, no exceptions. He desires a relationship with you, not a religion.
