Dear friends & family,

Hello!! It feels like time is just flying by. Operation Christmas Child has finally died down a little bit (since all of the many boxes are turned in) and I can finally relax a little bit. I have finally been able to sit down and really process what I am about to get myself into. I am finding that there are so many little details left that still need to get done (Immunizations, buying the rest of my gear, fundraising, and the list keeps going on!)

 

Right now is a time when support is more important than ever. I need your help and no matter how small, every gift at this point is a step closer towards my goal. I know it’s difficult to add another thing to the budget, but I am asking that you prayerfully consider supporting in one of the many ways mentioned below. I saw just this year that Operation Christmas Child saw an INCREASE in giving than in any past years. God is bigger than any recession. My biggest need right now is for prayer!

I know God is the ultimate provider and will continue to provide all of my needs (which prepping for the race is a lot) and will faithfully provide for you as well. I am looking for a strong prayer team. If you are interested in praying for me throughout this year, please e-mail me with your name and address. My second biggest need right now is for financial giving.

Here are some of our upcoming deadlines and where I stand in relation to them:

November 30: I need to have $7,000 in my account. (50%)

I currently have $5,713 (it’s about 41%)

December 14: I need to have $8,500 in my account. (60%)

April 1, 2010: I need to have $11,500 in my account (80%)

July 1, 2010: I need to have $13,800 in my account (100%)
