While I was on the World Race, in my 5th month I was in Thailand serving with

SHE Ministries

. It is a Christian charity committed to helping women and children at risk in Thailand, many of whom are trapped in the commercial sex trade. SHE is dedicated to providing employment, vocational training and counseling for women who want to help themselves out of this industry.

During my time in Thailand, I had such an amazing connection with the Thai women. I would somehow find a way to communicate without every speaking the same language. I also was so supportive of the ministry, the vision they have and everything that is SHE.

This is why I have committed to serving with them until 2013+.

I am the Training Manager with SHE. I help train Thai women, who come from a life of bondage, and teach them Jewelrymaking, English, baking & cooking, skills needed to work in a Hotel and more! I am blessed to be able to help these women seek a life of freedom.
