We have been here for a few days now and have now gotten
some sort of a feel as to how the people live. We are learning more and more
what our ministries look like. One of these is the worship nights they have
every night. We are finding that we have to be really proactive in motivating
people to have church, bible studies and really anything. If we don’t ask if we
are going to have church that night and show up, it won’t happen. This is what
happened last night. We constantly brought up having church that night and when
it was going to be. We showed up and no one was there and we had to find the
people. With us being there, they ended up setting it all up and people began
to show up because they hear the LOUD music! It ended up being a good and long
service that ended around 2am. Needless to say, we were TIRED.

At the end of the service, they asked if we could do another
service the next morning at 10am. Well we cannot say no to that!

We go and hear the same 5 songs that they know (for the
third time). I was praying that there would be a newness and freshness to the
worship in the morning and God totally delivered! While the team was setting up
the sound equiptment, I was playing and taking care of the children. We were
all set to go and begin singing. Then one song that is full of hand motions
begins to play. The second it starts, the little girl I was with drops her
balloons she was playing with and begins worshiping and doing all of the
motions. I was full of joy. I spent the entire time of fellowship worshiping
with this precious girl.
