Well we made it to Malaysia after a 16 hour bus ride from Hua Hin, Thailand.  We are on month 6, Woah, I know.  So I wanted to update you all on what we are doing this month and how you can be praying.

Malaysia is a closed country.  Where we are now is predominately Muslim.  That being said, we are working with a Christian family who runs a kindergarten here.  The kindergarten isn't a means of ministry, per se, but a way for them to fund and support whatever God has in store for them.  They felt God calling them to move here and prayed about it and packed up their family and came here about a year and a half ago.  It is a hard transition, as you can imagine, so please keep them in your prayers.

Each day, we help with the kindergarten.  I do the after school care, so my afternoon looks a little something like this:
Shower time.Yes, I bathe the 5 kids and pretty consistently at least one pees on my foot.
Lunch time which consist of rice and something fried. Normally an egg or tofu, spelled tao-fu    here
Nap time where the kids take a two hour nap and I end up with drool down my shirt from being so bored.. Yes, I bring something to do or read but 2 hrs is a long time
–Play time where the kids go outside and half of them sit in the little play house and lean their heads against the wall in hopes of falling back asleep while the others disobey the rules. 🙂
-Then it is shower number 2 time.… the kids get bathed again
Tea time is next…. the adults have tea time so should the kids. Each kid gets a cup of powdered milk to drink to prepare their thinking caps
-By this time it is about 4pm, so it is play time and we color and review the colors and shapes
-Once the kids are over it and scribbling outside the lines it is time for a few songs as the parents come to get them… twinkle twinkle little star, itsy bitsy spider and hokey pokey to name a few

As you can see it is a pretty fun little afternoon.  The thing is none of these kids are Christians and we can't teach them any Christian songs or anything.  Since this is a closed country, we aren't even allowed to talk about it.  We have to show our religion through our actions. Our goal is to love these kids with the love only Jesus can give us.

Some prayer requests…
Please pray for pastor and that doors continue to open with people in the community.
Please pray for our teams safety, physically and spiritually as many Muslim men do not respect women and there is lots of darkness around here.
Please pray as I continue fundraising the last amount needed for this trip. I know God will provide.
