Well I told you I would post about my future plans later… and welp now is later.

I will start by just telling you guys a weird/funny story.  Back in March we were in Cambodia.  Our team was staying at a church where we would teach college girls Bible study once a week.

One day we were in Bible study and Hayden, a teammate, started laughing hysterically.

Of coarse, if someone is laughing I start laughing and it got a bit out of hand.  After Bible study was over, I asked why we were laughing.

She told me I was making a weird face that looked sorta like this:

That's attractive, I know.  So anytime I would make the face a teammate of mine would tell me to stop making the beaver face.

Okay, so then hop on over to April in Kenya.

I was laying on my hammock in awe of the beautiful landscape.  I started praying about what I was supposed to do after the race.

I heard God say Oregon but I thought that was too good to be true.

I have dreamed of going to Oregon for years and even have my nursing license there in hopes of moving up there.

I started praying for confirmation that day. I called a friend in Nashville and asked for her prayer.  As soon as I told her, she said the Lord had told her I would be in Oregon.

I don't know why, but I was still a bit skeptical, so I prayed for a more clear confirmation.

The next day I was running and a hospital sign lit up and the Lord told me I would be working there. Huh? I was so confused.  Kenya or Oregon?

Once I got home I got on the internet and looked it up.  The exact hospital was the name of a Christian hospital in Portland OR.

It was confirmed I am going to Oregon.

And then…. Jenn one of my teammates asked what the state name was.  I had no clue, so she looked it up and it was none other than the BEAVER state. 🙂

Not only that, through a series of other divine appointments I will be moving in to a missionary families home with an ex-racer, Caley, in the city of BEAVERTON, OR.

And then to top off all the craziness, I found out at debrief that my other roommate, Abby, is close friends with a squad mate from L squad.

God is so cool.

As of now the plans are…. stay in Mississippi with my family until the 11th then head to Nashville for a week.  After that I will be going to Georgia for a squad reunion.  I will be leaving soon after to road trip it up to Oregon with 2 of my pals.
