Remember that one time when I applied for the World Race thinking there was no way I would actually do something so crazy? Yet here I am waiting for the second load of fellow racers to get to my house before we carpool to training camp tomorrow. Give me a moment while I freak out.

I can’t really talk about what is in store because frankly, I have no idea. Let me tell you what I do know.
- I know that God has been working on me these last few months and I hope to get a glimpse of what His plans are for the year.
- I know that I will feel frustration, joy, excitement, fear, and uncertainty in their most extreme and pure form.
- I know that I cannot wait to get to know my squad in person. (What up team mellow yellow?!)
- I know that ideas of beauty and identity will be reevaluated without the presence of make up or a mirror.
- I know freedom will be found away from facebook, twitter, email, pinterest, texting, phone calls, and blogs. (Talk to you in a week!)
- I know my philosophy about prayer, worship, and relationship will be challenged and stretched.
- I know I will eat weird things.
- I know I’m the world’s worst packer.
So I’m sure I will have several posts from training camp coming soon but in the mean time pray for me. Yes. I am asking for a FULL minute of your time to life me up in prayer. I think I’m gonna need it.
