If you haven't heard yet the packing list for the World Race is pretty intense. I had never heard of a lot of the things they recommend I bring. (I'm not really the outdoorsy type.) I have been stalking REI's store and website to learn as much as possible. To make packing easier I starting a Pinterest board.
For those of you who have been living under a rock the past few months Pinterest is a site that allows users to "pin" things they find on the interest to virtual themed boards. So I created a "My World Race" board to pin ideas, tips, and supplies that I want to remember. (Check it out —>here) It's easier when I can see the things I need. I thought I would share this with you because I want feedback from former racers or world travelers. To become a contributer just comment on the "Join Now" pin and I'll add you. I would love to see what worked and what didn't. I want to get quaility things for cheap so tips on how to find the good stuff for sale would be so helpful.
